Help! I don't have an academic email address

Right, that could be a problem then. If you're a student or you work at a university you're probably entitled to one, so if you ask your IT people nicely they might give you one. And an email address. (Sorry.)

If you really can't get a uni email address - if, for example, you're banned from using the internet by court order - then you can register with your personal email account as an "other". You might not be able to access all of the features you would ordinarily be able to, though.

If you then email us through our contact page explaining why you were mistakenly arrested for creating a malicious virus that caused havoc across the world, we'll upgrade your account if we can be sure you are who you say you are and you promise not to hack us.
