Visa extension scam in the spotlight

The Guardian has a story from a journalism graduate who decided to investigate visa extension scams which allow international students to stay in the UK to work when they should be studying.

She was able to get promises from two colleges in London to register her as a student, in the full knowledge that she did not intend to go to classes.
