How much is your collection worth?
A new poll has revealed that the average value of a person's CD collection is a whopping £1,500.

Research carried out on behalf of Barclays Insurance discovered that men own an average of 178 albums, compared to 135 for women.
Those living in the Yorkshire and Humber region had the largest CD collections, while people in the North East of England had the smallest. The ICM survey found that around 10% of people owned 500 or more albums.
Of the sample of 1,000, nearly three quarters said that they would be unable to remember every album they have, with most not having fully insured their collections, perhaps because they did not know just how much they were worth. Most valued their CDs at around £900 less than the estimated national average, but said they valued their computers or cars more strongly.
