Alton Towers invites you to 'beat the bell!'

  • Beat the rush of school kids as Alton Towers opens two weeks early!
  • Enjoy your favourite rides over and over again – or come back to the park for free next time!
  • Win free tickets and £100 worth of magic money!

On March 19th Alton Towers are offering a once in a lifetime opportunity, as they open their gates two weeks early, giving students a chance to 'beat the bell' - missing the rush of screaming school kids and having the run of the park! Alton Towers are so confident you won't have to queue they are offering you a free ticket if you're unable to complete the Alton Challenge! If you can't get on Rita – Queen of Speed, Oblivion and Nemesis three times each, then you can come back to the park for free next time!

Students are in the perfect position to avoid the Easter rush and make the most of these unique opening times. While most children are still languishing in fifth period French, you could be enjoying your fifth go hurtling through Nemesis! While spending 3 solid months as American Richard Rodriguez did in 2000 might be a bit extreme, with no queues full of kids you'll now be free to go on your favourite rides as many times as you like!

Speed demons can satisfy their thrill seeking side on Rita - Queen of Speed, free spirits may be inclined to go for the windswept exhilaration of Air, while the real adrenaline junkies opt for Oblivion's death defying plunge! Then of course there's Nemesis, still sucking the unwary into a turbulent, twisting frenzy of a ride, only to spit them out dazed and confused, but wanting more minutes later!

As a further temptation to come and have the run of the park (as if you needed one!) The Rundown has teamed up with Alton Towers and have two tickets to give away...but that's not all. The winner will also get themselves £100 of Magic Money to spoil themselves with in the park.

Park entry starts at £23 for adults if booked in advance online at www.altontowers.com. On the day prices from £29.50 for adults. Free ticket if you can't ride the thrill rides three times is only valid Mon-Fri 19th – 31st March 2006.
