Ok my last word wasn't that original but this one is...Dephilistinification
Definition:
1. The process of becoming cultured and increasing in knowledge of the arts
2. Being less of a philistine
I came up with this one to describe my New Year's resolution to learn something about western high art, be it visual, musical or literature.
